  11. Envisioned user experience (conceptual) At main mobile entry, users selects the GPS LifePlan that is a best fit – high school, college, military or workforce OR go directly to My LifePlan. Or, custom URL masks will take user to version entry page. • At the version entry page can make goal setting selection • Career goals • Education goals • Finance goals • Leadership goals • Personal goals • OR user can be presented with a predestined option Upon selection a short audio overview will play. The career and life planning process

YES option (conceptual) • IF YES • The user is presented with • An appropriate interactive exercise, e.g., career interest assessment • A focused research experience, e.g., resources for determining career interests • A document generation option. • The outcome of each is a personalized result, collection or article that the user could temporarily view online, print and/or store in his or her personal “MyGPSLifePlan” repository. • NOTE: Relative to the mobile version, it is assumed a primary assessment will be selected for each area. Options for several additional types of assessments (e.g., in the career area this might include assessments focused on skills, interests, personality, career values) could be provided in follow up communications via a pre-scripted email campaign. BROWSE option (conceptual) • IF BROWSE • The user is presented with • Pertinent GPS LifePlan resources. • The user will be able to view resources in the recommended order of by most popular. • NOTE: This option will result in viewing the career pages as IF JOIN is chosen user is introduced to the GPS LifePlanning Community. In the community, the user makes a personal page, view suggested information, participate in recommended learning exercises, enroll in non-credit workshops like goal-setting, interact in discussion topics with other users and opt to join other subgroups (e.g. particular college or course interest group like first term college student, veteran and student, etc.), interact with an online advisor or distance credentialed counselor or connect with a campus appointed staff.

Some of the items that would be included in My LifePlan are: • A personalized dashboard of what is done and not done • A record of questions asked and answers provided • Links to key pertinent key contacts User can insert a graphic of My LifePlan (customized version of MyStuff) here

Start Up Budget • Personnel: • OSC CRM team (manager, programmer, site admin, graphics, e-advising spec, distance counselor) – N/A if lead development is through the Minnesota Online support contract • Technology: • Drupal license maintenance – N/A paid by VREP through June ‘14 • Annual PALS server fee – N/A for military version paid by VREP through June ’14; up to $3,750 for other versions • Annual Oracle maint fee with chat – N/A paid by support center through June ‘14 • Annual Oracle chat license: $1,000 • 3rd party services: • Drupal prof tech services: $19,500 Basis of 156 total hrs; 52 hrs/version; 35 hrs to set content structure; 5 hrs to set core, version and local managers; 12 hrs to develop role-based training • Oracle prof tech services: $20,000 Basis of 80 total hrs; customization of monitoring report display to end user and assistance with modifications to analytics • Web design services: $18,500 Basis of 185 hours to assist with mobile and community interface design and implementation
