  1. Display Ratios • The Student Union displays have ratios of 16:9 • Most computer displays have ratios of 4:3 • This often distorts graphics when they are changed to the correct ratio

  3. Distorted Pictures • This is the same slide after it is pasted into the Digital Signage PowerPoint • Note how the image is squished and one group of text is running into the other

  4. Step 1 • First, click on ‘Design’ at the top of the screen Click the 3rd option from the left

  5. Step 2 • Next, click ‘Page Setup’

  6. Step 3 • Click on the drop-down menu labeled ‘Slides Sized For’ • Select ‘On-screen Show (16:9)’ It should be the second option down

  7. Step 4 • Now add your text and pictures • Be aware of how much text is being put on your slide • Less is more!

  8. Step 5 • All submissions must be made on CISync using the Student Union Digital Signage Request Form. • Only Power Point slides saved as a JPEG or a JPEG file will be accepted.If you have any question, please contact Annie Block-Weiss the ASI Administrative Support Coordinator, annie.block-weiss@csuci.edu or (805) 437-1674.
