Key Points • Event: Chance of light sleet and snow across central Texas • Timing: 4 PM Thursday through 9 AM Friday • Amounts: Less than 0.2” accumulation • Impacts: Light accumulations on elevated surfaces - and possibly some roadways. Some slick spots, but no major deterrents to travel expected • Confidence: Low to moderate in occurrence; moderate to high confidence in amounts if precipitation DOES occur • Worst case scenario (very unlikely): Isolated heavier precipitation amounts than expected, leading to more extensive slick spots, particularly on bridges/overpasses.
