  2. Schedule • When- 19NOV11 • Where- Piedmont Park, Oval Area • What- A consortium picnic which will be used to build camaraderie

  3. Information • Time of event1400-1700 • Food per person • 2 slices of Papa John’s • 1 cup for water or Gatorade • Game being played • Flag Football • Dodgeball • Kickball • Introductory speech from each BNCO at 1415

  4. Location of Picnic • Center of Oval and Soccer field 1 • Tables will hold pizza • Tables will hold coolers of Gatorade and water • Soccer Field one will be primarily used for games • Midn will branch off to other fields if they would like to

  5. Extra Information • People will be given only two slices • No chairs will be provided, bring blankets or chairs • Midn will not allowed to drink • Midn 2/C Mitchell and Midn 2/ C O’Hara will arrive at 1230 to start setting up • Volunteers?

  6. Extra Information II • This event will be mandatory • Parking will be located at the Trader Joe’s parking lot next to Starbucks, or where people normally park for consortium PT • Midn 1/C Jones, Midn Denoyer and a permanent staff member will be on call for any medical emergencies

  7. Games • Games • Flag Football • Dodge ball • Kickball • Appropriate behavior will be enforced for these casual sports

  8. Medical Medically Disqualified from DODMERB If a Midn receives an injury • If a midshipman is currently medically disqualified they will not be allowed to participate in sports-related activities • They are allowed to do social events such as congregating, cheering, and keeping score for various groups • If they have questions, report to Midn 2/C Boone or Permanent staff • Two first aid kits will be on site • Midn must contact Midn Jones/permanent staff immediately if an injury presents itself • Appropriate action will be taken, and the student will be required to do a follow-up with a school physician the following school day • Ice packs will be readily available
