  6. ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust are pleased to be associated with the UWS Enterprise Challenge, with our interests in the 18-25 year old age group proceeding into Self Employment. The Challenge inspired the schools to think as 'Entrepreneurs' and the innovative ideas which developed were fantastic.  It was a very rewarding and productive exercise which I am looking forward to being involved with again next year" ANGELA BOOTH, Area Manager, The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust Magnox North Chapelcrosswas delighted to be involved in the first UWS Enterprise Challenge. The standard of presentations given by the schools was exceptional, and the learning experience gained by the youngsters in this environment produced very high standards in such a short period of time. Enthusiasm and inspiration was certainly plentiful and the activities undertaken over the two days encouraged a culture of business ambition and innovation. JILL CALLANDER, External Communications, Magnox North - Chapelcross

  21. Feedback “I found the Employability Toolkit very useful in not only identifying  what was available within the curriculum but also to identify gaps...It really helped to pinpoint what we needed  to include in our Employability Lab.” Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, Adult Nursing “The Audit helped us to broaden out our thoughts about areas we should be covering and helped us to identify specific gaps. It was interesting to discover, through the Mapping exercise, how many things on the course do contribute to the development of employability skills. We have since developed employability sessions that are integrated into the course and contribute to assessment.” Senior Lecturer, Education “The skills development menu is excellent.  I used a version of this with the PG MA students and it worked well.” Subject Lead, Faculty of Business and Creative Industries

  22. Final thoughts: • What employers are looking for? • What students are looking for? • What HEIs are doing/need to do?
