  8. Activity: Changing Habits Cross your arms. Now, cross them the opposite way. How does it feel? We can change our habits with practice.

  9. Good Habit #1: Put First Things First Prioritize: To put things in order of importance Why is prioritizing important?

  10. What can you do to become more of a prioritizer? Use your planner Do fun activities after important things Plan for the week Work on projects in smaller parts Do assignments due tomorrow before assignments due next week

  11. Good Habit #2: Know that attitude is everything! Be a confident student Have a positive attitude Be responsible Make good choices Think for yourself

Good Habit #3: Know how to study effectively at home! • Make a regular and consistent homework and study time for yourself • Find a place where you can work quietly with little or no distractions • Surround yourself with the necessary supplies • flashcards, notes, highlighters, books • Set up a break time to refuel! • Get something to eat, go outside, relax!

  14. Good Habit #4: Know how to cope with stress! • Exercise or play sports • Eat well. Feed your body good food • LOL- Laugh out loud and have fun with your friends • Talk it over with someone you trust • Take time out for yourself and rest in a quite space • Get some extra sleep • Organize and manage your time better • Learn how to cope with angry feelings • Be good to yourself and someone else
