  1. Are you a participant in an evaluation? Take a tour of the Centre…

  2. When you are a participant, you are issued with a unique username and password.

  3. These are delivered by email. You log in using this username and password on the Home Page.

  4. You will be taken to the Personal Details form so you can provide us with details necessary for the evaluation.

  5. You will then be asked to confirm that the activities you have completed are your own work only. Also, you will need to confirm that you will agree to be retested if it is necessary to do so.

  6. An introduction page provides you with instructions and some basic rules about how to use the system while online.

  7. The assessments to be performed are listed, in order. Every participant must do them in the order specified.

  8. TestGrid’s online Help system is available at any stage of the process.

  9. The Help system is accessed by clicking on Help in the toolbar. 

  10. This system allows participants to troubleshoot their own issues, or to get in touch with TestGrid directly.

  11. When you are ready, you select the first assessment activity.

  12. The test loads onto your computer

  13. You are provided with an overview of the test and the style of questions.

  14. Practice questions are also provided

  15. Start the test when you are ready.

  16. A timer appears for some tests.

  17. You will be able to identify the questions you have answered.

  18. After you finish, you will be prompted to review answers if there is any time remaining.

  19. You will also be told about the next stage of the assessment process.

  20. Where there are further assessment activities, the system will prompt you to perform the ones remaining.

  21. Each test, in order, will follow the same format with practice questions followed by the test.

  22. At the end of the assessment, you will be thanked and you will have an opportunity to send feedback.
