Main clause + to infinitive for reason • I have to go online to find a flight • I’m going to Brisbane to see my relatives To infinitive in a response. • Why are you going to Brisbane? • To see my relatives. The to infinitive can be used to give a reason or purpose to answer the question why.

  3. It’s + adjective + to … • It’s + adj + to-infinitive • It’s easy to find a cheap flight online. • It’s nice to say “Thank you”. Negative statements It’s + not + adj + to-infintive It’s not hard to do Questions Is it + adjective + to-infinitive Is it expensive to fly to Brisbane?
