  6. What Shall Be Our Philosophy of Child Training? BEHAVIOR is usually our focus But BEHAVIOR overflows from what fills the HEART

"For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. "These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man."

  20. Proverbs 23:13…19 Do not hold back discipline from the child, Although you strike him with the rod, he will not die. You shall strike him with the rod And rescue his soul from Sheol. Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off. Listen, my son, and be wise, And direct your heart in the way.

  21. Biblical goals are accomplished by Biblical methods When we shepherd a child’s heart we are training children the way that our Heavenly Father trains us !
