Interim glite release process

Interim gLite release process

  • EGEE project finished on April 2010

  • EMI project started on May 2010

  • Until EMI (and EGI) are able to take care of the releases there is a transition period where:

    • WLCG is the driving force behind the gLite releases until EMI takes over

    • We will try to keep LCG and EMI related work as much aligned as possible

  • How long ?

    • The first EMI release is scheduled for March-April 2011
