High School Credit Requirements • 28 credits total, including: • 4 Math • 3 OR 4 Science • Earth and Environment, Bio, IPS OR • Earth and Environment, Bio, Chemistry, AND Physics • 4 English • 4 Social Studies (US History II, World History, American Systems, US History III) • PE (9th, 10th, Wellness OR Fitness and Sport) • Freshman Seminar • Health • Computer Applications • Law, Investment, and Finance Education (LIFE) • Graduation Project (11th and 12th grade English)

High School Isn’t Easy (If you do it right)… • Challenges all students face: • Pressure to get good grades • Academic Dishonesty and Honor Code • Adjustment to new school environment • Maintaining social relationships • Learning to manage stress – PRIORITIZE!!! • Facing peer pressure • Getting enough sleep • Eating well • Learning to prioritize and manage new responsibilities • Planning for the future

First Day of School – iPads & Class Meeting • Tuesday, Aug. 27 – No school for Fresh/Soph (juniors and seniors only) • Wednesday, August 28 (Freshmen & Sophomores ONLY) • Students will receive iPad in school and set it up; turn it in at end of day • On evening of Aug. 28 @ 6 p.m., mandatory parent/student meeting • $50 fee – one-time fee over life of iPad • Refundable at time of graduation or move • Covers insurance costs in case damaged or lost
