Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Who? - We are not fighting against humans. - Human fighting methods are useless.

  5. Revelation 12:9 • The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. What? • The devil’s most harmful weapon is • deceit • - He uses lies to deceive us.

  6. Revelation 12:10-11 • The Accuser of our brothers and sisters • thrown out, who accused them day and night • before God. They defeated him through the blood • of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. • They weren’t in love with themselves; • they were willing to die for Christ. • His weakness is the Blood of the Lamb • & the word of our testimony.

  7. Ephesians 6:13-18 • Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. • In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. • Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. • And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. How? • Our preparation is putting on the • armour of God. • - We are to always pray.

The more time you spend before the Lord, waiting for Him, the more power you are filled with. • 3. Waiting before the Lord creates intimacy.
