Current Situation Current Situation • There are challenges with providing college guidance services to high school students: • Parents and students rely on school to provide post-high school planning • Counselors lack time to counsel on post-secondary options • Results: • Unnecessary dissatisfaction with high school guidance • Confusion (especially among first generation college goers and their parents) • Stress felt by parents, students and counselors

  4. Overview College Coach is the leading nationwide provider of college advisory services to high school students, parents and teachers.

Service Channels We deliver our services through three channels: • Corporate • Employee Benefit: Work/life offering designed to reduce stress/increase loyalty of employees with college bound children. • Selected Clients: AIG, Abbott Labs, Goldman Sachs, J&J, Merck, NYSE, PepsiCo., Putnam, State Street, Viacom • Community Based Programs • Student Counseling: One-on-one counseling that provides hands-on assistance through the college admissions process. • Locations: Newton, MA; Great Neck, NY; Ridgewood, NJ; Greenwich, CT • High School Based Programs • College Placement Support: Foundation or school sponsored supplemental services designed to enhance high school based services. • Selected Clients: Brandeis High School (AIG), Chicago Public Schools, Deham Public Schools, Edison Schools, Manhattan Center for Science & Math, National Academy Foundation, Sabis Education, Winthrop Public Schools

Session Framework College Coach will conduct sessions using a proven framework. • Pre-meeting • Family completes College Coach’s comprehensive questionnaire • College Coach reviews questionnaire and creates structure for meeting • Meeting (basic structure) • Identify strength and weaknesses of student • Strategic discussion (testing, extra-curriculars, recs.) • School options (portfolio, admissibility) • Questions • Post-meeting • College Coach completes Family Report for guidance file • Family acts upon College Coach recommendations

  11. Implementation Schedule The College Coach program will be launched in late December.
