  2. Seven Stories • Creation (p.3) – Genesis 1 • Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Gen 1:28 • God has a plan, and a role for us to play. • Adam and Eve, Sin • Sin is not created by God, it is a choice we made. • Cain and Abel • Sexual Sin • Noah • Tower of Babel

  3. Noah • Genesis 6:5-8 • So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. (Gen 6:6) • Our choices can bring God pain. • 6:17-22 • God is committed to His good plan for the world. • 7:11-12 • 8:13-22 • 9:1-4 • “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth. All the animals of the earth … I have placed them in your power.” (Gen 9:1-2)

  4. Fix It, Father • Why didn’t God just fix it? • There is a human role to play. • God is NOT far away. • Is God good? • God is working for true goodness for this world. • There will be pain to restore the world.

  5. Fully Devoted Followers of Christ • Year of the Bible • Evangelism = Witnesses • Property for ministry • Changed lives beyond Sundays
