  5. Anoka County Crash Data Overview Urban Crashes 93% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in urban areas. Non-Ped/Bike Related Crashes • 87% of CSAH/CR urban severe crashes are non-ped/bike related. • 62% of these crashes were intersection related (40% occurring at a signalized intersection) • 34% of these crashes were non-intersection related (32% involving road departure) Ped/Bike Related Crashes • 14% of CSAH/CR urban severe crashes are ped/bike related • 61% were bike related, with the majority occurring at a signalized intersection Rural Crashes 7% of the CSAH/CR severe crashes occurred in rural areas.
