NFL Alcohol Service Policies • 2 alcoholic beverages per ID • 5 NFL teams only allow 1 beer per ID • 7 NFL teams do not sell alcohol in the seating area • Check IDs for 30 and younger • 6 NFL teams check EVERYONE’S ID • Alcohol service ends after the 3rd quarter • Maximum beer cup size is 24 ounces • 17 NFL teams serve no larger than 20 ounces

Designated-Driver Program • Register fans of drinking age by pledging not to drink during event, get friends home safely • Usually includes a wrist band to identify designated driver and a free soft drink • Promotion can also include giveaways to individuals such as a t-shirt or other “trinkets” • Designated-driver prize drawing (winner for each game, winner of the season)
