  4. What is a Percent? A percentage means per one-hundred or divide by 100 Example: I have a shirt that’s 90% cotton and 10% spandex. This means that if there were 100 threads in my shirt, 90 of them would be made of cotton and 10 threads are spandex.

  5. Relationships with Percents Numbers of 100 EXAMPLE: ⅕ = 20% EXAMPLE: 0.20 = 20% EXAMPLE: 20 out of 100 = 20% Fractions Decimals
