  9. BBC • The BBC is the world’s largest and biggest TV broadcaster. • It is the UK’s principal public service broadcaster. • Funded by a television licenses • No advertising

  10. ITV • ITV is also popular • It was the UK’s first commercial television provider • Funded by advertisements

  13. Coronation Street • A soap opera • Based in Manchester • On every night of the week • Full of drama

  15. Radio BBC also has many radio stations. • BBC Radio 1 • BBC Radio 2 • BBC Radio 3 • BBC Radio 4 • BBC Radio 5 live There are no adverts on these radio stations

  16. Capital Radio • Used to just be in London but now all over the country • It plays music in the charts • Radio station plays adverts
