  2. From the Principal… I am very proud to be principal of Matamata College- a school that has 80 years of tradition, experienced excellent teachers, a good academic record, well resourced classrooms and a beautiful environment in which we learn. We are a school which provides a wide range of opportunities for academic, sporting, cultural and social growth and learning. We have a long tradition of welcoming international students to our school and we are seeking to develop this further. I believe international students who come to us with some of their countries’ traditions help our students learn more about the world in which we live while gaining an invaluable personal experience for themselves.
