  1. Availability of Doctors Canada has a doctor shortage. Many patients have to wait for a long time.

  2. Quality of Doctors There are not many institution schools for doctors . We need to have more paramedics to provide first aid.

  3. Media articles • There is a report from health council of Canada released in Toronto star . This report says that because a lack of availability of family doctors in Canada forces patients to end up in emergency with long wait times within hospitals and patients are forced to go to walk- in- clinics.

  4. Federal Governments role in Health Care • The role of the federal government is to assist in financing provincial health care services through fiscal transfers, and to set standards and principles upon which transfers to the provinces and territories are contingent.

  5. Provincial Governments Role in Health Care Provincial government health care programs deliver the Canadian national system of health and hospital insurance and health care services.

  6. Municipal Governments Role in Health Care • The municipal government does not do much since they have other things to do such as funding for local government services.
