  2. Story Jason was born son of Aeson and Polymedeand right after birth was given to a centaur to be raised in safety. When Jason was older he returned to his birth town of Iolcos. King Pelias was told by a prophecy that he would killed by a one-sandaled man. Jason had lost his sandal in a river while helping a lady in disguise who was in reality Hera. This made King Pelias paranoid so he sent Jason on a seemingly impossible quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece located in the city of Colchis.

  3. Story part 2 For his quest Jason assembled a crew that were called the Argonauts. Among the Argonauts there was a man named Argos, who built the ship they sailed on called the Argo. To begin the trip they must first cross the Black Sea which also meant crossing the Sympegladesotherwise known as the Clashing Rocks. When they arrived Colchis they met King Aeetes. Aeetes said that in order to obtain the Golden Fleece he must complete a set of tasks. Once Jason obtained the Fleece he was attacked by Aeetes’ soldiers. Jason and the Argonauts fled. On the return they had to fight Scylla and Charybdis, the Isle of Sirens, and Talos the bronze guardian of Crete. When Jason returned with the fleece Medea whom Jason met on his journey killed King Pelias. Jason and Medea fled and lived happily until Jason fell in love with another princess. Medea raged and killed the kids and the princess. Jason was a lonely man until he died by a board from the Argo.

  4. Ordinary World Jason’s parents were Aeson and Polymede and was seperated from society and was given to a centaur to be raised in safety.

  5. Call to Adventure King Peleus is paranoid and sent him to get the Golden Fleece.

  6. Allies and Mentors Jason’s allies were Argos and the Argonauts and Medea.

  7. Crossing the Threshold Jason had to cross the Sempeglades and the Black Sea.

  8. Road of Trials • Plow a field with fire breathing bulls • Plant teeth of a dragon and kill the armored men that grow from them. • Escape the Dragon

  9. Belly of the Whale Jason loses his loved ones when Medea goes rage mode.

  11. The Return On the return journey he had to fight Scylla, Charybdis and the Isle of Sirens and Talos the bronzed guardian of Crete.

  12. The Elixir Jason returns home with the Golden Fleece and a completed quest!
