Evaluation • Outputs: • 10 TAG participants • 5 TAG meetings • 3 videos • 500 Facebook friends • 80% of participants had fun • Outcomes: • 80% report stronger connection to library/community • 50% report learned new skills • 50% express desire to continue • 50% express willingness to be involved with the library in other ways CLOSE: 2, with 1 in the works Not quite: Still figuring the BookFace

Step 1: Gauging Interest • We surveyed teens in the library and local schools to see if teen-driven activities would interest teens more than library-driven activities. • The results? • Of the teens surveyed, nearly 70% said they’d be more likely to participate in library programs planned by other teens • Several even volunteered to be part of the group
