  3. The Challenge • Submit a proposal for Construction Management Services • Company Background • Full Estimate and GMP • Project Approach and Logistics • CPM Schedule • Present to the “Owner”

  4. The Challenge • Project is revealed the morning of the competition • We then have 14 hours • No outside assistance • No Internet

  5. What We’re Given Beforehand The project involves construction of a new multi use facility located within Region 1 of the United States. The program will include educational and training facilities, food preparation, spaces for demonstration and assembly and the creation of an environment conducive to the inhabitants, administration, and staff.  Systems include structural steel framing, extensive Mechanical and Electrical systems, specialized finishes and the possibility of extensive upgrades. There are particular site logistics issues to be solved such as UXO (ordinance), government finance regulations, etc.
