NTB AT GLANCE • Administratively, Lombok consists of 2 cities and 8 districts • Culturally, Lombok consists of three main ethnics which are Sasak tribe in Lombok , Samawa tribe in western Sumbawa and Mbojo tribe in Central and Eastern Sumbawa. • Geographically, Lombok consists of 2 big islands and 278 small islands (Gilis) since it is maritime or island-based province. • Lombok has flagship investments in tourism as word-class destination, mining, agriculture, fishery, commerce, and creative economy which attract investors’ interest (PMA-PMDN) • Lombok possesses supporting infrastructure for investment that are adequate and firm national, provincial and district roads, Lombok International Airport with increasing capacity and quality, and Gili Mas Lembar Port which is under development and will operate in the third quarter of 2019. The port will provide service for container ships and cruises, and supplies electricity and abundant renewable new potential energy. • Investment services is through online NTB’s One-stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Service (DPMPTSP) with ISO standard 9001: 2015. It is the third best in National Assessment of Public Services by KemenPAN-RB in 2017.

  4. 2. INVESTMENT’S REALIZATION IN NTB Investment to NTB is increasing. According to Report on Investment Activities (LKPM), the realization in 2017 was Rp. 11.280.326.526.268 with 11, 50 investment rate. It increased 369 times more than it was in 2008 which was Rp. 30.527.520.812. Investment’s realization and growth rate in 2018shows increment especially with the operating of KEK MANDALIKA, development of Smelter PT.AMNT in Sumbawa Barat Regency. Not only depend on mining and tourism sector, NTB Provincial Government spurs investment in Agro Industry and Commence.

  5. 2. REALISASI INVESTASI DI NTB Arus Investasi ke NTB terus meningkat. Berdasarkan LKPM (Laporan Kegiatan Penanaman Modal) Realisasi Investasi tahun 2017 sebesar Rp. 11.280.326.526.268dengan laju Investasi sebesar 11,50 .Terjadi peningkatan 369 kali dibanding LKPM 2008 sebesar Rp. 30.527.520.812 Tidak hanya bertumpu pada Sektor Pertambangan dan Sektor Pariwisata, Pemprov NTB memacu Investasi Sektor Agro Industri dalam arti luas dan Sektor Perdagangan. Realisasi dan Laju Pertumbuhan Investasi tahun 2018 menunjukan peningkatan terlebih dengan telah beroperasinya KEK MANDALIKA, Pembangunan Smelter PT.AMNT di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat .

INVESTMENT REALIZATION DISTRICTS/CITY2017 INVESTMENT REALIZATION IN EACH SECTOR IN 2017 • Investment realization in NTB is dominated by mining sector with Rp. 8,405 T, Tourism Rp. 1,719 T, and Commerce Rp. 199,711 B. • West Sumbawa Regency is area with the biggest investment, Rp 6,712 B. It is followed by Dompu Regency withRp 3,625 T and West Lombok with Rp 2,563 T. • Investment realization in 2017 was dominated by PMDN (80,45 % ), which was followed by PMA (19,55%)as PT. NNT changed into PT. AMNT He number of countries invest in NTB are 38 countries. Investment realization PMA is dominated by combined countries (Cooperation of 2 countries of more),Australia, France, Italy and are followed by Belgium. ORIGIN COUNTRIES OF FOREIGN INVESTMENT

  9. K.E.K MANDALIKA KEK Mandalika is one of 10 National Priority Tourism Destinations. Based onPP 52 of 2014. It has very strategic location with 1,175 ha alreadyClear and Clean. Area of KEK Mandalika is 3,5 times larger than area of Nusa Dua Bali which is also managed byPT. ITDC. It was inaugurated by Presidenof IndonesiaRepublic Bapak Ir. HJokoWidodo on 20thOctober 2017 Developing basic infrastructure in this area are public facilities, Royal Tulip Hotel (Korea), Pullman Hotel, Paramount Hotel, Club Med Hotel,AstonHotel, PalamertaHotel, X2Hotel, andJSBHotel. Currently Vinci Prancis is building Moto GP circuit with finishedLUDA (Land Use Development Agreement) with PT. ITDC At the end of 2020, 2500 new hotel roomsis going to be built in KEK MANDALIKA are.

GLOBAL HUB (BANDAR KAYANGAN) IS NATIONAL MAINSTAY AREA THAT IS BEING DESIGNED TO BE “THE NEW SINGAPURA” AS THE WORLD MARITIME AXIS Bandar Kayangan is located in ALKI II lane (Sea’s Groove Indonesia Archipelago II) which is dedicated to the world. Hence ships from Europe, Africa, Central Asia , Australia, South East Asia, East Asia and even pacific countries can go through the route safely. • Referring to the Bappenas study in 2009, Indonesia has the opportunity to develop a new global hub to meet the needs of the world's extra large vessels. Lombok is the most potential location. • In PP 13 of 2017 Global Hub Bandar Kayangan is designated as National Mainstay Area. • Current, Bandar Kayangan Global Hub development is in preparation of the location / layout, institutions, technical design, exploration of potential investors etc.

Mount Rinjani has a volcanological geological heritage (caldera, young volcanic cones, solfatara, geysers and other high aesthetics) • Rinjani is the water source of Lombok Island. • It has increasing tourists’ visitation every year. • It is in an area with high risk of natural disaster (geology) and climate change. Mount Rinjani Geopark RinjaniGeopark was appointed as the host of the Asia Fascia Geoparks Network Symposium 2019

  12. PT. AMNT-SMELTER PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara is an Indonesian mining company that operates the BatuHijau mine. It has several prospects for copper and gold concessions located in West Sumbawa Regency, NTB Province. The BatuHijau mine is the second largest copper and gold mine in Indonesia and is a world class asset. It is fully facilitated with large fleet of mining equipment, processing plants with a capacity of 120,000 tons per day, 112 MW coal-fired power plants, ports with ferry ship terminals, air services, and neatly arranged townsite. Smelter construction (concentrate purification) is mandated by Law No. 4 of 2009 concerning minerals and coal, and in accordance with ESDM Regulation No. 1 of 2017 concerning the preparation process for Smelter construction.

ONE-STOP INTEGRATED INVESTMENT AND LICENSING SERVICE AWARD PanduNegeri Award 2017 to the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara in PMPTSP Services Implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2015 in PMPTSP Services was Launched on 17th December 2017. The Indonesian Ombudsman Assessment of NTB regarding Public Services in the Investment Sector and One-Stop Integrated Services is in the Green Zone. In Public Service Evaluation 2017 carried out by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, NTB Provincial Government through DPMPTSP was ranked 3rd Nationally.

IMPACT OF INCREASING INVESTMENT Until 2017, NTB Successfully reduced poverty by 2.2% (2014-2017 • NTB succeeded in implementing MDGs, towards achieving SDGs 2030. • Improvements in the past decade. 2017: • Gini Ratio: 0.378 • Poverty from 23.40% (2008) to 14.75% (March 2018) • 5.06% of economic growth • Unemployment 3.32% CONTRIBUTING IN REDUCING POVERTY RATE (PRO POOR) CONTRIBUTING IN CREATION OF PRO JOB WORK FIELDS. CONTRIBUTING IN COMMUNITY WELFARE AND IMPROVEMENT.

  19. NTB EMPLOYMENT IN AUGUST 2017 • The work force in August 2017 was 2,396,169 people. The employed population in NTB on August 2016 was 2,316,720 people. • The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2017 was 3.32 percent. • In August 2017, 73.62 percent of the population worked in informal activities, and its percentage rose 0.51 percentage points compared to August 2016. • During the past year, sectors that experienced an increase in the percentage of the population employed were the Industrial Sector (2.91 percentage points), the Trading Sector, Restaurants and Accommodation Services (2.84 percentage points), and the Construction Sector (0.90 percentage points ) • In August 2017, 36.93 percent of the population worked part time (working hours less than 35 hours a week) included 17.27 percent half unemployed and 19.66 are percent part-time workers.
