  3. Definition Analytical Exposition is type of text that is included to argumentation text where contain the writer’s specific idea about the phenomena surrounding.

  4. Social Function To ensure the readers that topics presented are important to be discussed or get the attention by giving some arguments which support the topics.

  5. Generic Structure Generic Structure of Analytical Exposition text consists of three parts, such as: 1. Thesis In thesis part, the writer introduces about the topics or main idea. Thesis is always in the first paragraph in Analytical Exposition text.

  6. Generic Structure 2. Argument In this part, the writer presents some arguments to support the main idea. 3. Reiteration This part is the closing of Analytical Exposition text. Reiteration restates the main idea in the first paragraph. Reiteration can be called as conclusion.

  7. Language Feature • Use simple present • Use relational process • Use internal conjunction • Use casual conjunction

  8. Example Is Playing Computer Dangerous for Healthiness? It’s common to see people play computer. They use it for making task, playing games, or browsing something in internet. Most of people spend long time for playing computer. Even several people can play the computer whole day which could lead them to some diseases. Facing the monitor for long time can create the tiredness for eyes. It will make people dizzy. Further effect, glasses will be the options, why? Because our sight becomes blur (abnormal). Other effect is backache. It is sometimes too fun playing computer that make people don’t realize their seat position. That’s why after playing whole day they will get backache. It is obvious that too much time spent for playing computer can make eyes feel tired and lead people to get dizzy. Eyes also feel bored to face the monitor for long time. The wrong seat position can make people get backache which could disturb all activities we will do. Thesis Arguments Reiteration
