    • Circumstances- lack of education, family situation, poverty cycle, substance abuse

Selection Process
  • Must be 16 or older.
  • Not in previous HWC team
  • Each country sets criteria.

Examples

Finland: recovering drug addicts & alcoholics.

Philippines: people living in slum areas.

South Korea: street paper vendors

  • Length of game- 14 minutes total (2 halves)
  • Number of players- 8 total; 4 on court in game
  • Playing field- 22 (long) x 16 (wide) meters
