Do you know which comport this is? Do you know the serial baud rate for which the TNC is set? These things are important. Learn them and make note. OS – Win 98 or newer. All other programs are transparent and run in the background. • Create an e-mail account for your Paclink Post Office account in Outlook Express. OS – Win98 or newer. FLORIDA AMATEUR DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATION HANDS ON WORKSHOP – LOADING SOFTWARE TELPAC NODE– BRIDGE TO INTERNET E-MAIL Generally tactical computers will not be running Telpac Nodes while in the field as a Telpac Node must have an internet connection to make this bridge to internet e-mail. Loading this program on your computer today will be a learning exercise so you can do it on another computer when needed. FLORIDA AMATEUR DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATION HANDS ON WORKSHOP – LOADING SOFTWARE • TELPAC NODE – BRIDGE TO INTERNET E-MAIL • When a packet station links to a Telpac Node - • Telpac links the packet station to a distant PMBO. • E-mail exchanges are made between the packet station and the PMBO. • Telpac computer must have an internet connection to make this bridge to internet e-mail.
