Recruiting New and Retaining Members Field Sales – Face to face meetings – Target 12 per month each Tele Sales – Target 10 per month each Premier Members (Members with the potential to use many of the Chamber services) receive three phone calls and one to two visits per annum with hands on advice and support. Standard Members would receive a welcome email and one phone call per annum. This is very much a self serve on line activity.

Chamber International Department The Government has an enormous desire that companies consider exporting and increase the flow of foreign currency into the country Lots of government assistance is offered to UK businesses wanting to export or expand their exporting efforts This is managed by UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) The first point of contact for advice and assistance is the local Chamber of Commerce We have an International Trade Department run by a team of UK International Trade Advisors They assist with an exporting strategy, can manage market research, supply data and set up appointments in other countries Government Funding is available

  19. Press, PR and Policy The Chamber has a dedicated Press team who will assist members in promoting their business. All they need is a rough script and they will produce the very best copy for our marketing vehicles. Chamberlink and daily E news On matters of policy we are a big noise at council and government level.
