  2. Yin yang- how polar opposites are connected and dependent upon each other in the natural world. Ba gua- 8 diagrams used to represent the fundamental principles of reality. Each is broken in to three trigrams that are either borken or unbroken, depending on if they represent yin or yang. The trigrams have correspondences in astronomy, astrology, geography, geomancy, anatomy, the family, and elsewhere. Taoist Symbols

  3. Kua- each Kua has a separate meaning dealing with the energies of the universe. Wan-Wu- “the ten thousand things and beings” All the phenomena in the universe. Taoist Symbols

  4. On some holiday, street parades take place. During parades there are lots of bright colors, music, firecrackers, and dancing. Street Parades

  8. They do participate in Kung fu, which is a major part of celebrations and parades. Tai Chi is also very widely practiced in many different forms. Martial Arts
