  2. Mark your calendars! Tuesday evening, February 5th 6:00 PM – Set Up/ Deliver Food 6:30 PM – Program – auditorium 7:00 PM – Food and Projects – gym 8:30 PM – Clean-Up

  3. Choose between these options • Make a poster on a world language theme (see your teacher for specific guidelines) One Community Connections activity. • Make a Power Point presentation on a world language theme (see your teacher for specific guidelines) One Community Connections activity. • Practice and perform a song/skit/dance in the target language with other class members. Two Community Connections activity.

  4. Opportunities for Extra Credit In addition to your required contribution you may earn extra credit by doing one of the following: • Preparing a dish to share from a country you are studying or your country of origin (other than USA) • Staying ½ hour after the close to help with clean-up - limited number

  5. Requirements for Posters and Power Points • These must be in keeping with the guidelines given by your teacher • You must turn these in by Tuesday, January 29th • You must have your name on the front of the poster or on the title slide of your presentation • You must not include any hotlinks to Internet sites in your presentation. (We will not be hooked up to the Internet.)

  6. Requirements for Performances • The group must have at least one practice with your teacher present • You must attend at least one practice • You must be ready back stage when it is your turn to perform • You must submit a title and description of your act with the names of the participants by Tuesday, January 29th

  7. Requirements for prepared dishes • You must fill out a card (supplied by your teacher) with information about the recipe and turn in two copies by Tuesday, January 29th. • You must use disposable containers • You are responsible for keeping hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold until serving time • Food must be brought by 6:00 on Tuesday. • You need to find your card and place it with the dish or you will NOT get credit for it

  8. Summary of deadlines BY JANUARY 29th TO YOUR TEACHER -- Performers supply information for program -- Cooks supply information about contents -- Posters and Power Points are due • Dishes are due TUESDAY,FEB. 5TH AT 6 PM

  9. Community welcome! Be sure to invite your family and friends to attend OCMC– just $1.00 per person for the food and experiences of the world!!
