  4. AmericanRed Cross I donated blood at several of the VSU blood drives. Every pint donated can save up to 3 lives.

  5. FYE Tennis Toss I helped number the 250 tennis balls that were included in the tennis toss that benefited various programs such as American Red Cross and Safe Haven.

  6. Lowndes County Animal Shelter I spent an evening at the animal shelter making sure the animals were cared for (had food, water, clean pens) and then enjoyed playing with them for “social time”.

  7. International Pancake Day! Anyone who came to IHOP on International Pancake Day received a free plate of pancakes. A donations box was placed at the front of the restaurant and all the money gathered benefited The Children’s Miracle Network.

  8. Superstar Valdosta I helped set up and serve the food at Superstar Valdosta, a singing competition, which was hosted by the South Georgia Chapter of American Red Cross.

  9. I attended the VSU Pink-Out Football Game to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Pink Out Game

  10. VSU Tennis Fundraiser I purchased a VSU tennis t-shirt to support our Blazers!

  11. What I Learned It’s awesome to help out in my community. People really appreciate when you’re willing to help out. It’s definitely possible to volunteer and have fun simultaneously. Animals are cute and everyone should adopt a pet from a shelter!

  12. ADopt See!!!! They’re too darn cute to resist!!! Adopt a pet!!! =]
