Lesson 1 Master Words

  • conceal (v.) – to hide from view or to keep secret

  • dash (v.) – to throw violently, especially so as to break to pieces

  • drawback (n.) – an unfavorable condition; a disadvantage or shortcoming

  • imp (n.) – an evil spirit

  • meddle (v.) – to interfere in the affairs of another without being asked
