  5. Hypothesis (cont.) • Corn Syrup egg: • Weight • heavier • Size • wide/large • Looks • different

  6. Materials • Eggs • Beakers • Balance • String • Measuring tape • Vinegar • Corn Syrup • Water

  7. Observation • Vinegar: • bouncy • squishy • a large amount of foam at top.

  8. Observation • Egg in Corn Syrup: • dented • deflated • Egg in Water(24 hrs.): • fatter • larger

  9. Conclusion • Egg in Water: • got fatter, larger • water, in egg • H.C (water) to L.C (egg)

  10. Conclusion • Corn Syrup Egg: • got smaller • water, out the egg • H.C (egg) to L.C (corn syrup)

  11. My hypothesis is incorrect because; • Water Egg: • Weighed more (wrong) • Size, got bigger (wrong) • Look, fatter (right) • Corn Syrup Egg: • Weighed, less (wrong) • Look, became soggy (wrong) • Size, smaller (wrong) Conclusion
