  11. Selecting Audio • Click & Drag • For editing • Adjustments • Arrows moves left side • Shift + Arrow moves right side

  12. Copy, Cut, Paste • Listen for & select “________ and my favorite room in my house is” • You can select in play mode • Don’t press pause • Make sure you selected just that • Make any adjustments to the front & back ends with arrows • Delete on keyboard or Edit…Cut

  13. Copy, Cut, Paste • That doesn’t sound good! • Undo (Edit, Undo OR Ctrl+Z) • Change it to this by editing: • “My name is ______ and my favorite room in my house is my __________ and I love to eat ________.” • Paste is Edit…Paste or Ctrl+V

  14. Saving Properly! • File… SAVE AS • This is VERY IMPORTANT!

  15. Saving Properly! • Select your folder • Student Projects… Your name • Type in the name • Change file type to • Windows PCM (.wav)

Record This… • "THE LAZY DOG RUNS AND JUMPS OVER THE QUICK BROWN FOX“ • Don’t read your recorded sentence too rapidly or with a lot of expression. • Using the cut & paste method of editing, change the sentence so that when played back it will say: • "THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG“ • Don’t leave too much space between edits. End of Day 1
