  1. Get yourself updated with complete Vietnam guidebook From Floating markets to pho soups and conical hats, Vietnam is one of the most fascinating places to visit. Whether you are an adventurer or a historical traveler, visiting this country is one thing that you should never miss and also add to your bucket list. When planning a trip to Vietnam, for your honeymoon, a family vacation, or for a business trip, you will need a Vietnam visa. Following are few things that should be considered especially when it comes to visa requirements and other travel documents- Travel Requirements for Vietnam Travelling to another country would always mean that you need to get a Vietnam Tourist visa or a business visa before you head to the country. Visa requirements for Vietnam depend on which country you are a citizen of. If you are a citizen of one of the 23 countries that are exempt to take visa for Vietnam then there is no requirement of a visa. Most of the countries that are exempted are Brunei, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Philippines, etc. If you belong to one of these countries then you do not need to apply for a visa before travelling to the country. Do note that length of stay differs depending on the country so it is important that you should check if you have a month visa-free stay in the country or just 2-weeks. What happens if My Country is not exempted? If your country of residence is not exempted then you need to get a visa to visit Vietnam. There are many travel agencies that offer visa services; however, you need to check how legal they are. You can also get in touch with the Vietnam embassy to help you find an authorized & legal agency around you for Vietnam visa. There are some agencies that also offer "visa on arrival". One only has to fill the Vietnam visa application online and collect the visa upon arrival. Travelling for Business Purposes If you are travelling for business purposes, it is recommended that the company that is hiring you or hosting your stay apply for your Business Visa for Vietnam. Once the visa is approved, the local authorities will send a copy of the letter to the Vietnam embassy located in your country. Some countries might require additional documents and so it is important that you check the latest updates about fee & documents required.
