Recommend: Mission & Strategy
To enrich our individual spirits,
To cultivate our relationships with one another across the generations,
To reach out to our neighbors, and
To act for change in the world.
A theory of what we MUST do if we are to thrive in the pursuit of our mission. No guarantees .
We must focus our efforts within the town of Plymouth for the next five years and we must consciously limit the number of community initiatives we take on and do a few things very well.
We must offer a variety of worship and educational experiences that appeal to our members throughout the lifespan.
We must become attractive to families, however defined, and provide opportunities for families and friendship networks to connect with one another and to be nurtured in their own growth and development.
We must pay attention to and expend energy on becoming a caring community in which members feel safe, that they belong, and that the congregation will be attentive and responsive in both celebrating triumphs and providing help in times of crisis.
