Make sure you write your words out at least twice each. You might also like to try the spelling activities we practised. Tables I am on T.T.C. Level I need to practise my 7 and 8 times tables. Write your times table in your Homework Book. Reading Record Don’t forget to record your reading in your diary!Write the title of the book in each day, even if you just read a page, record the time that you read for. Then get mum or dad to sign your diary at the end of the week. Reminder: Record anything that you read. If you read an article in mum’s newspaper or dad’s magazine, Writeit in your diary. Reading Record Spelling T.T.C Reading Spelling Focus on these skills while completing your homework Organisation: • Have you set aside time to complete your homework so it is handed in on time? • Presentation: • Have you ruled a margin on each page? • Handwriting: • Have you set your work out neatly so that others can read it? • Reading practice: • Have you read and recorded your reading each day? • Spelling practice: • Have you written out your words at least twice? • Tables practice: • Have you written out your tables? • Persistence • Have you given each task a go? English- Write a Review of Camp Maths- Asleep and Awake Time Homework Checklist Your camp routine was very different to your usual weekday routine. You were expected to get up early, go to bed late and many people went to sleep a little later than expected… Your task is to fill out the table below and compare your time at camp to an average schoolday. You must figure out the hours you were awake and asleep for. • Your task is to write a review of your experience at camp. You need to include the following in your report: • The food • The activities • Night activities • Accomodation • Camp Staff Friendliness • An Opporunity for Improvement for the camp • Make sure you use paragraphs and full sentences in your report, as well as editing your work. The most interesting review from each grade will be sent to camp for the staff to read. WORDED PROBLEM Miss Van Steensel shot 6 arrows into the target on her first turn and 12 on her second turn. She used three people’s arrows altogether. How many arrows should each person have got? Your homework is due back on Friday 14thof December 2012
