  3. APARD • APARD - Nodal Agency for Capacity Building and Trainings for Andhra Pradesh. • Well Equipped state of the Art, Training Infrastructure. • Judicious blend of Trainers drawn from Administration, Academia & Executives of Government Programmes. • All Faculty Trained by DoPT, GOI.

  4. Present Activities • Capacity Building for RD functionaries on NREGS-AP, Watersheds, etc., • Capacity Building of Elected Representatives and Functionaries of PRIs. • Disaster Management Trainings. • Training to Revenue officials. • Water and Sanitation IEC Activities. • Capacity building of NGOs in HIV/AIDS. • Model Accounting System.

Current Initiatives • UNWOMEN – Promoting Women’s Leadership. • PESA – Empowering PRIs in Agency & Tribal Predominant areas of AP. • LWE – Planning & Development of Extremist Affected Districts (EAD). • All these programmes will be run on the Platform of APARD’s Current methodology for Synergizing Local Governance and Development Structures through KEY CAP/ L2L – BNV.

  8. UNWOMEN Project Area in AP Srikakulam Vizianagaram Mahabubnagar • These three districts are predominantly backward, Scheduled and tribal areas. • Srikakulam is an EAD. • Vizianagaram & Mahabubnagar are BRGF Districts.

Suggested Strategy • APARD Suggest KEY CAP for Women Political Leadership. • Mobilization of all women in every Grama Panchayat Political Leadership Opportunity through KEY CAP Methodology. • Leveraging our Training Design for Women and our Training Methodology of Sculpting BNVs. • Specially produced inspirational films for Training Women Political Leaders.
