  2. About the CJK NACO Project • One of the PCC NACO funnel projects • Collective effort to contribute CJK authority records in NAF • Established reviewers pool to serve members • Members receiving training and other NACO related consultation through the Project

  3. RDA-Related Trainings • Online training • Oct. 15-Nov. 16, 2012 • Self-paced • 20+ people participated • Live webinar • Nov. 19, 2012 -- General • Nov. 29, 2012 -- CJK-specific • Post-training review continues • Workshop • Co-sponsored with CEAL CTP • Mar. 19, 2013 -- 53 people registered

Other Activities • Collaboration with CEAL CTP: • Undifferentiated personal name authority record survey and presentation at the 2012 ALA Annual • Proposal for alternative RDA practice for Chinese place names • Proposal was modified by CC:DA for general application and approved by JSC in Nov. 2012 (6JSC/ALA/19/Sec final/rev) • Will work with CEAL for follow-up actions

Future Plans • Recruit new CJK NACO members • Conduct trainings for new members • LC/NACO’s online training materials • Partnership with reviewers • Increase no. of reviewers • Independent RDA CJK NACO contributors • Self-nomination welcome • Continue to involve in NACO related activities in PCC and CEAL • Participate in CJK authority record clean-up projects as needed
