  3. WHAT IS TRANSITION YEAR? • One year school based programme between Junior and Senior Cycle • It is designed to act as a bridge between the two by facilitating the smooth transition from the Junior to Senior Cycle

  20. Parental Involvement • Parents should actively encourage their children to participate fully and positively throughout the whole of Transition Year. • Benefits can only be gained by full time attendance and a to positive attitude all the work on hand.
