I gave Toyota Center 4 ½ stars for the Event Marketing and Booking Internship. It was an incredible experience! The full-time staff is extremely welcoming of new interns, there is plenty of hands-on projects to submerge yourself in, and the interns are given most of the same perks the full-time staff receive. I was assigned shows, given marketing materials, and told to run with it. This shows the trust this company has in their interns, which I believe improves the performance and willingness of the interns.

Project description

Project Description

I headed up the grassroots marketing plan for The “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions. I was given posters and flyers and could do whatever I wanted with them. I researched different places in Houston that I thought would be beneficial to have them at and distributed them to raise event awareness. I also looked into various Houston horse club websites to see if they would post our event information, and found different horse events that occurred in Houston that we flyered at. I also assisted the Group Sales Coordinator in marketing for groups simultaneously.
