Conference Attendance • As of 9/30/11, registration numbers, excluding exhibitors, were tracking over 45% ahead of the same time in 2010. • From the time tracking began at 12 weeks out from the conference (we are currently at 4 weeks out), numbers have been anywhere from 15% to almost 50% higher week over week. • Typically about 30 – 50% of attendance numbers are seen by onsite registrations for the conference.

Exhibitor Manual – Shipping Dates • October 6: Shipping to Advance Warehouse - FIRST DAY • October 26: Shipping to Advance Warehouse - LAST DAY WITHOUT SURCHARGE • October 31: Last day for Advanced Warehouse Deliveries Shipments must be received before 5:00pm • November 2, beginning at 8am: Shipping to On-Site Show Facility - ONE DAY ONLY

Exhibitor Manual – Other Dates • October 6: Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Form • October 12 - 14: Venue and General Services Contractor Forms due (refer to Exhibitor Service Manual) • October 19: Renaissance Catering Order Form and Swank AV Telephone / Internet Service Form • October 21: Lead Retrieval Order Form • October 26: Technology Express Audiovisual Form

  13. Freight / Material Handling • Exhibitors may carry in small packages including pop-up booths provided they can be hand-carried by one person in one trip per booth.  Exhibitors are not permitted to pick up their freight from any carrier at the loading dock.  • Refer to the exhibitor service manual for additional information on material handling for the conference.

  14. Chicago Area Union Jurisdictions • Exhibitors may set-up and dismantle pop-up displays in booths of 10'x10' or less, as long as it can be set up by one person in 1/2 hour or less, without the use of tools.  Pop-up displays larger than 10 feet will require union labor. • Refer to the exhibitor service manual for additional information about the six major unions that have jurisdiction over tradeshows and guidelines to help you in preparing your exhibit to conform to union jurisdiction and help save money.

  15. Communications • Week of October 10: Exhibitor Bulletin #3 and Pre-conference Attendee List • October 31: Pre-trip communication with important last minute information for the conference • Onsite: Exhibitor Welcome Packet with attendee profile • Post conference: Exhibitor Survey and Post-conference Attendee List
