  1. How to Make the Most of the Last 2 Months when Preparing for SBI

  2. If you are one of those who work better under pressure and thrive on last minute study, here is how you can make the most of the last 2 months when preparing for the SBI exam.

  3. Understand your Syllabus Thoroughly • Especially since it is a race against time, it is better that you know the right syllabus when you begin preparing for the exam. This will help you chart out a schedule that covers all your sections and also identify the right study material to rely on for your SBI exam.

  4. Creating a Time Table • In your SBI exam, every subject is important that you need to assign a justified amount of time in practicing all of them. Even if you may be good at English or quantitative aptitude, at no point should you take your knowledge or skill for granted and continue practicing for these sections as well. For English, read as much as you can and practice grammar and comprehension. For the math questions, work on honing your numerical ability and calculation skills. For the reasoning section, you may want to focus on the 5 mark questions such as the machine input-output type questions, arrangements, coded inequalities and syllogisms. Under general awareness you want to make sure that you are well aware of all the important news and current affairs.

  5. Practicing to Make Perfect The key to success in any competitive exam is to practice. Especially when you have only 2 months to prepare, you want to make the most of the time at hand to rigorously practice and improve your chances of making it to the next round. The more you practice, the deeper will be your understanding in each section. The ideal way to go about this is to maximize resources provided by your SBI coaching institute and relying on old question papers, mock exams and sample papers.

  6. Quickening your Reading Skills In the last 8 weeks leading up to your exam, you want to work on speed and accuracy. Learn how to make your reading faster and better, this will help you save time when solving the paper and also allow you to attempt more questions accurately. Keep up with the latest newspapers, magazines and books to stay abreast with what is happening in India, the neighbouring countries and around the world. This habit will also help you do well in the English section.

  7. Mastering Time Management This close to your SBI exams, you want to make sure that you have your time perfectly managed. This plays a critical role in any competitive exam you may be appearing for in the recent future. Understand how to manage your time and you will be able to solve the maximum number of questions with ease within the allotted time frame.
