  3. Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety “Before you hop on your bike, keep yourself and everyone around you safe.”

  4. Top Six Tips For Bike Safety • Know Where to Ride. • See the Signs. • Use Your Hands. • Be a Defensive Biker. • Keep It Moving, Clear the Way. • Be Aware Of Your Surroundings. Bike Right Walk Left Drive Wise

  5. Know Where to Ride • Bike lanes and paths are all around the city, use them.

  6. See the Signs • There are many signs indicating cyclists where to ride and what to do, it’s important to follow them. • These type of signs include: Bike Traffic Lines, and Designated Bike Paths.

  7. Use Your Hands • Use hand signals when changing course (point in the direction you want to go). • When in doubt at intersections, dismount and walk.

  8. Be a Defensive Biker • You may know the rules, but maybe the people around you aren’t aware of them.

  10. To be safe, make sure to follow the signs on the streets. FOLLOW THE SIGNS AT ALL TIMES! Stop

  11. Be careful while crossing the street. Always look around to make sure that its safe to cross the street.

  12. TEXTING AND DRIVING….. IT CAN WAIT Never text and drive Texting and driving can lead to serious injuries or death, it can wait.

  13. Use equipment properly Utilize the proper equipment while playing sports or other activities.

  14. Always listen to directions Make sure to listen and follow directions whenever someone is talking in order to prevent accidents.

  15. S T O P CYBER BULLYING Prevent cyber bullying Cyber bullying is not right, it can harm peoples feelings and can lead to harsh consequences.

  16. CAUTION WATCH YOUR STEP! always watch WHERE YOUR GOING. Always be careful to watch where your going, because there may be cables, cars coming, stairs and slippery floors.

  19. Eating Healthy Everyone gets hungry and instead of grabbing something unhealthy get something healthy and you’ll feel better.

  20. . Wash your hands everyday so you won’t spread germs and get others sick. Fact: Little kids get sick more often for not washing their hands and spread their germs.

  21. Your germs can be on a surface for two hours or more. Covering your sneezes. Most people get sick by sneezing and not covering it with their arms. . Cover your sneezes to prevent getting others sick

  22. Breakfastis the most important after sleeping you need to get back your energy. THE DANGERS OFT ` Lunchis to keep your energy after a long day. SKIPPING MEALS Dinnerif you don’t eat dinner it may cause you to have a hard time sleeping. Fact: More than 31 million people in the U.S.A skip breakfast everyday.

  23. Sleeping is important, everyday you have to sleep at least 9 to 10 hours . If you don’t sleep, you’re less aware of your surroundings, It’s also proven that you work slower. *

  25. Drink Water If you don’t drink water you won’t feel well. You need to drink water each day for your health and its better than drinking sugary drinks.

  27. Safety Rules 1) Always have and adult watching you. 2) Never swim alone. 3) Always know how deep the water is. 4) Wear a lifejacket if you can’t swim.

  28. What to do and what not to do when alone in a pool area. Do Wait For An Adult. Do NOT Get in the pool alone.

  30. SAFETY FIRST Safety Tips Be safe always wear your seat belt and WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!! Watch both sides of the street before walking. Watch out where you are going and don’t use the phone while driving.

  33. Anti-Bullying There are no bully free schools. We are only able to try and subdue it. Here are a few ways we can try and do that.

  34. Cyber -Bullying It makes somebody feel bad by putting up photoshopped pictures of them.

  35. Solutions to: Cyber bullying One of them would be to immediately block them. Another would be to tell the authorities a.k.a, the police.
