  2. Background • Ministry of National Defense (MoND) • started to HIV/AIDS epidemic in 1995 • Peer Education program started 1996 • to date cover, 30,000 military men. • Ministry of National Defense, member • to National AIDS Authority 1999.

  3. Activities • Peer Education program • Awareness raising campaign • Integration HIV/AIDS into military • training program • Condom promotion program • STD management, Syndromic approach

  4. Activities (Con’t) • Development of IEC material • Advocacy : • - Study tour, Attending conference • of senior officers • - Forming HIV/AIDS prevention • committee hierarchically
