The

Boat

  • Paddlers are seated

  • Single paddle

  • Paddle on both sides

  • Boat is wide for stability

  • Boat is heavier, slower

  • Built for speed

  • Six meters long

  • Very unstable

  • A bit wider than the athlete's hips

  • Not built for stability

  • - Have a rudder for steering -- by athlete’s feet
