  5. The Garden of Eden • Beautiful trees • Delicious fruit • Pleasure & Delight • “Intensely rich and lavish” • “Overflowing with goodness” • Everything a human might delight in.

  7. “A Fitting Helper” • ‘ezer kenegdo • kenegdo - alongside, opposite, a counterpart to • ‘ezer - active intervention on behalf of someone • Psalm 121 - “my ‘ezer comes from the Lord...” • Not demeaning.

  11. Cling... One Flesh • Physical - one flesh • Spiritual - cling • Sex is never just about sex.

Jesus & the Church • Ephesians 5: • 25 For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church… • 31 As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” 32 This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.
