  1. Invitation to attend IMA Events in Seattle, WA On Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2 the IMA Board of Directors will be meeting at the W Seattle. On Friday, you are invited to attend the following events: IMA Board Luncheon Friday, October 1 - 12noon to 1pm IMALA Workshop Friday, October 1 - 3:30pm to 5:30pm, see workshop description attached. (Seating is limited so reserve your spot by sending in attached reservation form.) Optional Dinner, Friday, October 1 - 6:30pm (see details on reservation form. If you plan on attending, you must send in a reservation) Board of Directors Meeting, Saturday, October 2 beginning with lunch at 12noon ending at 5pm followed by a reception hosted by IMA/EFWA, 5pm to 6:30pm

Personal and Professional Balance Topic: Personal and Professional Balance Friday, October 1, 2010 3:30pm to 5:30pm W Seattle, 1112 Fourth Avenue, Seattle WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES • Understand the "Super Hero Syndrome". • Assess your personal and professional balance. • Clarify the goals and values that drive your career and personal life. • Learn how to set limits, say "no," and ask for help. • Learn strategies to replenish your mental energy and physical stamina. Co-Presenters: • Karen P. Schoenebeck, CPA, MBA • C. S. "Bud" Kulesza, CMA, CFM (Event has limited seating and is on a first come first serve basis. Following the workshop we are holding an optional dinner at El Gaucho and the cost is $80 per person and includes bus transportation from hotel to restaurant and return to hotel.
