Point Is Very EasyTo Use But… Most of us use it for completing a loan application • It provides an all in one originating and processing solution • It interfaces with many other programs and systems, including contact management and marketing • The Prospect side of Point allows the Originator to generate marketing oriented promotional items • We will go through some of these different items and show you how to market with them …

  4. The Amortization Schedule • Forms a part of the TIL • May be generated on paper or as a PDF file • Should be routinely provided to any client either during processing or as a follow-up to a successful closing • Allows for the “additional payment” prepayment scenario

  5. Preparing the Amortization Schedule Enter the extra payment information if desired. Be sure and click on the “Prepared For” to add the name of your Realtor or Builder.

  6. Loan Comparison • Allows you to compare up to three loan programs/closing cost scenarios • Is an ideal example of templates applied for marketing purposes • Provides a snapshot of the payment and cash flow differences between the different programs • Forms the basis for the Open House Flyer, which compares three loan situations for a particular property

  10. Rent vs. Own • Compare over a reasonable time frame • Plug in a reasonable appreciation number for your particular market • Compare with an alternative way to invest the down payment, at a conservative interest rate

  15. Adding a Picture from Realtor.com • Go to the appropriate website. Find the picture of the property • Right hand click your mouse over the picture. Left hand click to “save as” to the c:\pnttempl\images folder and save as a BMP file • Browse to this picture from the Loan Comparison Screen – Open House Flyer tab from the bottom of the screen
