  1. Simulating using TopReX 4.23 – study in HEPG/generator level- by Adonis Papaikonomou for the KA-Top-Meeting 09/25/07 Content: • Problems found in Gen6 simulation - status

  2. KA-Top-Meeting 18/09/07IEKP Universität Karlsruhe (TH)

  3. Problems found in Gen6 simulation - status • CAF/TORCAF submission fixed – alternative to FZK (SL4) found • HEPG from TopNtuples better, but still not as expected • Comparison to generator level: momenta check (lulist) • event repetition: seems not to be the problem • problem in the polarization after the PYTHIA parton showering within the framework, generator seems to be confused… • decided to shower the TopReX files locally and then submit stdhep files (as for s-,t-channell and MC@NLO before), therefore needed madevt4 output-format • last week worked on the TopReX output code, new routine which supplies the hard process information in the needed format • yesterday a first sample was showered and today submitted to CAF • waiting for results eversince… KA-Top-Meeting 09/25/07IEKP Universität Karlsruhe (TH)

  6. Suche nach anomaler Produktion von Top-Quarks im Prozess mit dem CDF II Experiment Anomale FCNC als Fenster zu neuer Physik ZERFALL: SMdominant PRODUKTION: const. für : BR(tbW)>>BR(t ug) σanosignifikant Institut für Experimentelle Kernphysik Universität Karlsruhe (TH)
